When is it permissible to walk pass a sensor or camera on Shabbos?
Great question. I don't have any source, but my understanding was that it's OK to do so if you are not walking there because of the sensor and you are not benefiting from the sensor.
Automatic doors and lights com to mind, as well as 2nd day YT in EY.

Are scenery pictures posted in other people's trip reports allowed to be printed for personal use?
Do you need explicit permission or is there implied permission?
Small people talk about other people.
Average people talk about things
BIG PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IDEAS.

I wouldn't mind a source, and what's considered benefiting? Is it immediate benefit? How about if it's delayed or perhaps just used for historical data after Shabbos?

Same here....

Dunno. But let's just say you want to go inside a room with automatic doors. You would be benefiting if you cause the doors to open. But if somebody else causes the door to open and you walk in right away, that's not a benefit.
If you're walking on a street with enough light for whatever you are doing (e.g., walking) and walking by a certain house will cause a light to turn on, it would not be a benefit.

If I wanted to look good, I'd look up Rav SB Cohen's seforim on shabbos, then look for the sources and just post the sources. But I don't have access to that rn.

Those are clear cases of no benefit.

It gets more interesting in cases like for example walking past a sensor on a thermostat. It's not doing anything immediately to benefit you, but if it notices no one's home it will turn off the AC.
Or a sensor which records anytime someone passes by (without triggering anything), and can only be accessed after Shabbos.

I wrote something up based on discussions with my rov before my bechor was born 10+ years ago. I'm sure there's a lot of AYLOR dependent things in there, but if you can't do that for whatever reason, and just want a framework to think through some of the issues, PM me and I'll send it.

The first Rashi references the Yerushalmi - well before his time.
However, your second answer can work for both.
The first one is on the mishna (and rashi references the Yerushalmi) - E"Y.
The second is on the gemara - Bavel.
Different customs in different places.
The סידור צילותא דאברהם discusses this at length and basically says like @yelped that there was a difference between EY and בבל in this regard. He address the Gemara on 4b and says that ברייתות were נשנית in ארץ ישראל. Would love to know what the source for that is.

Mishnayos and Braysos were both at the same period and location.

Organized. But for our discussion the question is where they originated.

Am I allowed to go visit a conservative synagogue just to see how beautiful it is (not to daven there)?
Would there be a difference if it's conservative/reform/maskilim etc.?
I'm going crazy, wanna come along?

Lol guess youre referring to places that have the pshuto shel mikra Chumash
Anyway, Rav Moshe talks about it here (אורח חיים ג)

Isnt not אסור מדינא and its unclear how much the other considerations are relevant nowadays.

Thanks!
Although he's referring to a chasunah, he's finishing off that if it's a צורך גדול he's mattir to go, so going to look at different of these shuls to see the beautiful architecture might be a problem
