There are other possible cheshbonos especially with digital photography if you don't actually print it.

BTW, this shaylo applies to a number of other cases including the plastic cups found in many frum stores imported from Turkey that actually have a raised sun on them and IIRC one of the state quarters has a sun on it. The coin is similar to (I think this is ht resource but can't check it up now) the PT from se'elas Yaavetz about a coin they wanted to make with the face of the Chacham Tzvi. The cups IO spoke to some poskim about and came out that it is not derech kavod (I don't think I am using the correct wording for this) and therefore mutar.

Interesting question.
There is not as far as I’m aware. To the contrary, such a practice would be likely discouraged.

Of course there were. Their presence in Salmon and other fish is well documented in 1879 too and much earlier. The lists from then are almost exactly the same as the lists from now other than that they were not in denial about herring.

You check anywhere that there may be 1) chometz that you consider food and 2) chometz that you may come to consider food due to achshivei if it gets in your mouth on Pesach.
This is not 1. Is it 2? Is there any way for a crumb in the keyboard to end up in your mouth on Pesach?

You do have to check for pieces smaller than Kezayis, but according to most Poskim only if it is clean and somewhat edible, and thus there would be a chance somebody would eat it.

The issue is חצי שיעור, not אחשביה (except for the Chacham Tzvi who uniquely holds חצי שיעור is assur bc of אחשביה).

Keep in mind. That households with young children, one must clean and check even parts of the home that are never entered while eating. (As children tend to bring food wherever they go) 
 
Though you obviously don't have to clean areas that are beyond reach of children, high shelves etc...
