My flight was delayed for two hours and then cancelled in order to combine the passengers from two flights on to one. That flight was then delayed for four hours, with the airline saying it will be at least another hour. At that point I asked for a flight the next morning (it was after 10 PM at that point) which they gave me. I booked a hotel for that night and I would like to see if a credit card would cover it. Would I be allowed to claim it under flight cancellation? When I asked the airline for verification about the whole thing, they only sent about the cancellation.
