It's pretty much a physics problem. I guess something with a long spout can work.. I don't have one.

But I'm still not clear how long and hot to do it with a blowtorch....
I never hold a torch in one spot. You need to constantly move it to avoid hotspots and warping.

So what are you accomplishing? Waving fire at the metal? how does it get hot. It burns off the outer chometz. Isnt what your worried about, Bliyos?

You can hold it in one place, but you need to heat up the area before you do that.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Even so, you don't want to hold it one one place from too long. I'll post a video soon of pesach Kashering at one of our places (taking place now)

Why not use an immerser?

there have been sinks that have collapsed when using an immersion heater due to a combination of heat and weight.

Last 2 years I've been using an electric urn and kettle while plugged in. I wait till it's literally boiling and pour, without plugging in. The kettle is small, but works great for sink walls, faucets, etc, while the urn is much bigger and makes quicker work of the flat surfaces. I was told it's probably at least as good as even m'luban.

That's iruy kli rishon which can't kasher a kli rishon. Some say sinks are a kli rishon since pasta falls on it.

R' Shlomo Zalman says that iriui from a kli rishon while its on the fire boiling works in place of an even miluban

It is extremely dangerous to use an immersion heater on an under the counter sink. The clips are not made to hold such weight.

there have been sinks that have collapsed when using an immersion heater due to a combination of heat and weight.

Even a davar gush will have tata'a gavar and only be boleya a kedei klipa. Iruy directly from a boiling pot is maflit kedei klipa.

Question for you (I assume there's some knowledge of metzius here, otherwise I'd just ask my Rov). If I use the electonic button/pump to pour the water out (while it's at a roiling boil in the tank itself), do I lose the the iruy kli rishon status?

I don't see why you would. In fact, a colleague just presented me with the idea to use a transfer pump min hotel kitchens to do irui from a steam kettle with a hose.
I assume your referring to a pump pot.
1. I have not checked personally. but are you sure they get to a rolling boil?
2. How are you going to do the irui? move the whole pump pot around?

If the pump mechanism is between the pot and the kli then wouldn't the pump be mafsik kiluach rishon and make it into an iruy kli sheini?
Some pump potsw can get to a rolling boil but I don't know of any which can be kept there.

the pump mechanism is not mafsik. a pump is essentially a vacum. when the pump is running there is no hefsek between the kiluach and the pot.
