I probably would have responded that the Torah calls it a תועבה, but again as mentioned earlier, that is the act, not necessarily the person. Chazal also say similar things about gaavah.

Is that referring to משכב זכר as well?

Is there a way to say its not included in that?

We know that the almost 2000 years ago the sages stated that the culmination of depravity and immorality of the world in the time of Noah was when they started legalizing marriages between male and male (as well as beastiality). It was as that point that g-d was angered to the degree that He decided to destroy the world.

Astoundingly, the sages stated that there is one sign that g-d causes to be displayed to show that he is angry at the imorality of man as in the days of Noah- the sign of the rainbow...

The baby needs giur.  Which is only finalized when the child (consents and) continues doing mitzvos after bar mitzvah.

Just thought I'd put this out there as it seems pertinent to these discussions.

Our gd is loving and merciful, but he is also vengeful and punishing against the wicked.  So all this talk about gds love, needs to be reconciled with the vengeance of the hottest fires of hell, the diseases, the suffering and the destruction that is meted out by him in very exacting measures. It's not all fun and games..

(This is in no way a comment about recent events).

The problem is many claim things happened for X or Y when it makes sense to them.

Does tzedaka for a sick persons medical bills/treatments come before tzedaka for a chasuna? How about either for a chasuna or just someone that can't afford food, is there a kdima to one?

Heter Iska.
I want to a balance transfer from my credit card to another person.
He will make the payments. Probably I will have him send me the money and I will pay the cc.
What type of heter iska do we need? Can someone link to a copy of what we can use?

What is the procedure?
Can we sign and then send documents electronically?  Do we need aydim when we sign? What if one party is a woman?

Food is always first, and you must give if one asks, can’t say no

Though I've had instances where I asked a LOR who declined to give any answer on the topic of Ribbis and/or Iska.

Was just discussing Ribbis/Iska with a friend, where he was contemplating borrowing from a private company that is likely owned by Jews. The twist here is that the loan is 100% secured/collateralized by liquid assets. My initial thought is that this might present a problem with a traditional חציו מלוה וחציו פקדון Iska as there is absolutely no way for the lender to lose even a penny!

A LOR would still be able to point in the right direction.

Who are you calling the lender?

Obviously, I'll ask my lor, just curious the exp. out there.

My cc was used fraudulently bestbuy.com a couple of times. Chase flagged the purchases, called me and shut the card. Long story short- some charges were removed, some stayed and were refunded and one wasn't fully refunded. I called to have it ref. and the cs rep flagged all the charges that were on the statement as fraudulent and double refunded them. Wasn't that many in the end, but I now have $114 credit on my card. Do I have to alert them to this?
