Wow. Amazing how much we are medakdek in hilchos aveilus. Halevai we should be half as careful (i.e. err on the side of more) with אהבת חינם, so that all aveilus should be a vague distant memory!
That's the difference in themes between the first 2 haftoros of the 3 weeks (Yirmiyahu) vs. Haftorah of shabbos chazon. Shabbos chazon is about the causes of the chorban vs. the other 2 about the chorban itself.

ALOL.

I took it away now so that you feel more connected. But sooner or later someone will mess it up, at which point I can feel free to re-grant you a like.

But since, as they say 'round here, POIDH. Here's for an eternal memory:

Excellent. It's an example. Many other ways it can manifest itself. The point is to be דן לכף זכות, or better yet not to be דן whatsoever, but to show love and kindness to every Jew. Ignore all visible aspects, just see that every Yid is like a בן יחיד of the רבונו של עולם!
Brings up an interesting point (at least in my mind), the Mishna says והוי דן את כל האדם לכף זכות, which makes it sound like it's more important to judge favorably rather than not judge, OTOH not passing any judgement seems more righteous...

Hmmmmm

I'm under the impression that Shatnez is only wool and linen - but not other ground-grown fibers - i.e. cotton and wool. Is that correct? (Yes, I know that all items need to be checked, but that's not what I am asking)

If you by chance see someone in a situation that forces you do judge then והוי דן את כל האדם לכף זכות but like I heard in the name of R’ Yankel drillman- being  דן לכף זכות is בדיעבד, but לכתחילה you should mind your own business!!

If someone works by the hour and makes a mistake while doing their job. Does the time needed to correct the mistake get subtracted from the overall time?

I think that this is a highly subjective question that can't really be asked in general terms. A couple of examples:

- What prompted the mistake? Was it preventable by the "employee", or due to circumstances that weren't entirely in the employee's control. For example - if the employer neglected to mention a certain requirement of the project and the
- If this was for a time-estimated job (i.e. this job would take about 40 hours of work), does it significantly alter the scope of the work? (For exampe, I told the client it's 40 hours of work, and this mistake takes it from 34 to 37 hours - the client is still paying less that the agreed estimate).

Forgetfulness. Most of the time something was done one way. This time the employer said to do it slightly different. But employee forgot.
