There are also cases where the Gemara tosafos quotes doesn't match our girsa, which means ether a taoos sofer in tosafos or our girsa is wrong!

The best is the last Gemara in makkos where the Gemara quotes the nevuah of uriya that doesn't exist in our version of tanach.

The fact is that the vast majority of poskim are very clear that there is no heter of OASM for pas. Even those who can possibly be construed to mean that they hold that way are not so clear. It would therefore be a tremendous chidush to me if he said that as a blanket rule and I need to here what he said and how he said it as well as the exact context.

Exactly. It can often lead to a whole new understanding of the different opinions of Tosfos and others.

The whole discussion appears to be about the issue of bishul yisroel. Why do you think he's referring to the issue of pas yisroel?

So why are you telling us minute 30? I watched until at least 35, and heard no mention of pas yisroel.

ETA: Rav Weiss starts talking at 27:30 and stops at 36:15, during which time he is specifically addressing the question of bishul akum by coffee (and mashkim in general). Not once does he mention pas yisroel during that time. Maybe he gets up again to speak later and mentions it then, but if that's the case, please point to the actual time he does so.

I didn't listen to it yet but I see already that you are reading it to mean something it was never meant to mean. Why are you saying that cereal is pas? Many poskim consider all cereal to be bishul. Many say it is not even considered to be baked. That you are extrapolating from a statement regarding all snacks also sounds like exactly what I suspected and that you are taking something said regarding bishul and applying it to pas.
