When I buy a refurbished item from amazon, for example this blender.

I can either buy a used like new or a refurbished item for $15-$20 less. Now yes of course to know I'm getting something 100% fine I can buy a brand new one.
 But asking to know of anyone has ran such a question to a rag or some sort and was told whether it's allowed or not?

 Is refurbished a new top but used bottom?

Doubtful. It was for that person. Just a little added background this person wasn't religious as a kid he became more religious.

1. It's in the person's possession already and it's not your job to go fix the world in that manner. Here he is actively being nosein michshol.

I don't understand how you can throw someone else's thing out, to do a maysa issur bkum vaasey (some form of gneiva)
If he portrays himself as a frum yid, then he has a chezkas kashrus and you need to be dan lkaf zchus and assume its not for him, or any one of 100 possibilities of why he may have ordered non-kosher food.

Is there any issue with sending a traif (actually traif--salami, etc...) gift basket to clients who are probably not-Jewish (based on names, but not ethnicities)? Is it an issue if the basket contains a meat and dairy item (not separate meat and dairy items, but a bacon/cheddar dip)? I recall learning that only kosher meat and dairy are an issue of hana'ah, but I could be wrong. Thanks.
