5 hour layover in Heathrow

I have 5 hours in Heathrow between flights from NYC to Israel.  Is that enough time to leave Heathrow and see a bit of London?
Do I need a visa to leave airport?

Unless you have really bad luck with immigration when arriving into LHR you should have around two hours of tour time. The fastest way into town is the Airport Express.

That being said, there isn't much worth seeing (or eating) in London.

If you know how to make it into VS lounge, it is the best business class lounge in the world for Kosher travelers IMHO

How can I make it into the Virgin Atlantic Lounge @ LHR Terminal 3?

I have a Amex Bus Platinum and a United Club membership.

Will be flying Virgin economy.

I think I'm out of luck and will need to use the Centurion. Just making sure if that's the case
