Need suggestions to transfer Amex points

Hello all, I am not sure this is the right topic or this should have gone to the Up in the Air topic. I am closing a business card account and have to transfer the miles out. I am guessing the best way to keep value would be to transfer into the three major alliances. I fly a lot to Israel to and that is a consideration if there is a specific airlines good for that.

I was thinking 250k to Cathay
250k to Flying blue
250k to singapore?

any suggestions?
