Do you have any unimportant emails?
« on: November 13, 2011, 12:17:57 PM »
Ever since gmail started using computer programs to "tag" emails as important a few months ago, I have felt like the most important person ever. All my emails are important! It literally tags every email, including most of my spam! (not actual spam).

Has anyone found this feature useful? Has google run out of good ideas? Because I have some things I would to see them work on. For example, why doesn't gmail have  a send fax option?

Gmail tags as important messages that you read and messages that you reply to.

If you are on some weekly newsletter and you usually delete the email without reading it it probably won't be marked important.

And yes Henche, if you read every email that you get and respond to them, gmail will recognize that every email is precious to you!

does anybody actually put those "important tags" to use? if so, then they guy would have to moniter every email that comes in and either leave the impotant sign there or take it off etc..
