what flights are kohanim not supposed to take from new york to tlv?
im reffering to the issue of transporting bodies on the plane, NOT to the issue of flying over cemeteries.
im hearing conflicting reports about differences btwn elal jfk and elal newark, and im very confused.
are there other airports besides new york that have this issue as well?

Elal takes Meisim from JFK, not EWR.

Its known that elal dosen't take on their 1pm flight from ewr... im a kohan as well and thats what my fam does best option tho is a connection flight, there is a thread that discusses this topic

I'm a Kohen and I was told that most of the meisim from the NY area are flown in on United from EWR, not on ELAL as I had assumed.

This is not true - nearly all meisim are flown in on El Al...

United and Delta Charge about 4x the price....

This is what I heard from the Chevrah Kadishas in Brooklyn a few years ago.

Your best bet would be to call them directly and ask them the question. They are the ones facilitating the meisim being flown to Israel....

I just spoke with the person from Pincus Mandel in Brooklyn. He said most are sent from JFK, a small number (becoming smaller due to cost and timing) are from United in EWR, and ElAL in EWR never takes meisim.
