My six week period from time that they received the nano will be this Thursday... maybe they ran out and are slowly refurbishing more to send out. Could it be they didn't realize how many people would send back their old nanos?

I wouldn't worry. It seems like it can just take longer based on when you sent it in.

Received my Nano (6th gen.) In the mail yesterday! Just the Ipod, no headphones or charger.
