This is a very flexible topic. But in short My Kosher Hotel is top notch for a Kosher program that's open all year.it is way better than Levin arosa or Galitzky in St Moritz.

I was there a few times and always had a very good experience. Not a KMR but very good.

Which Kosher hotels or programs have you been to? Which expectations do you have that you think this will disappoint? I have been to dozens of Kosher programs and I can assure you that it is worth every penny. I haven't been to a different program that got you more for the money than MKH

If you already booked that is something else.

The only major downside of MKH is that the driving in the area is moderate. (My first time in MKH trip report = https://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=69252.0)
Thanks for info. Nothing is set in stone. Have started researching Lauterbrunnen Switzerland and it looks beautiful. Haven't heard of anyone who has been there yet though.
I actually went on a Pesach program run by the owners in Rimini and it was very nice. I imagine their hotel is equally satisfying. My hesitation is the location more than the hotel.

Wengen is IMHO the nicest town in Switzerland. But Kosher food and Minyan etc. Is lacking

@shmebeble In the summer, there is a number of places where kosher food can be purchased and where there are Minyanim. You could always buy in Zurich before you head to the mountains. Some chains have some fresh Pas Yisroel bread baked daily (best bread I've had was in Switzerland), various different types. Also check out the kosher list.

Thanks for the responses.
Online it appears a debate of staying in Wengen vs Lauterbrunnen.
For food we will most likely just schlep with us so we don’t have to go into Zurich.
Will look into what is available. @VacationLover  do you remember if there was anything available near where you stayed
I have read  train pass is the way to go as well.
Will probably have more questions s as I continue this research.

Besides the Kosher list there isn't really any option in the area.

But other times when I went without joining a program, I schlepped along most things. I also have a contact in Zurich that is in the catering business and he sends out food daily via train, very reasonably priced, but very Heimish and simple. He charges like $250 for Shabbos food plus $50 for shipping and you receive it the same day.

I think Lauterbrunnen is the name of the area, did you mean Interlaken vs. Wengen?

The location is very nice, you have spectacular mountains with easy and enjoyable trails super close by. I enjoyed it more than Davos.

Spent 5 lovely summers here with Stefan, Rav Schwartz, Mrs Horowitz & Co. Definitely the highest standard Heimish vacation spot on the planet. Iyh next year…

Yup, really loved this place, hope the program returns

Those menus look so Israeli.

Totally not.

There's like 6 mountains around it with hikes and trails. Theres a botanical garden on one. Depends what you call inspiring. It was nice, but the Dolomiti nicer.

Okay, so you are talking about MKH in Italy.

He wants to go to Lauterbrunnen, I thought you compared that to Davos.

+1 that the Dolomites are beautiful!

Between Lauterbrunnen and Dolomites, which one wins out in your opinion?

And regarding your previous post, I believe those are all different areas Interlaken, Wengen and Lauterbrunnen. Lauterbrunnen is the valley, while Wengen is up the mountain a bit, and Interlaken is North of Lauterbrunnen

Traveling to an epic destination with breathtaking views = Wengen (Or anywhere on Jangfrau)
Traveling to a beautiful place with Kosher program = MKH

Dolomites area is beautiful but the reason its on the radar is because of MKH. Otherwise there are dozens of great destinations.
