When I was in college, I'd often do homework via dial-up modem. Of course anyone who used dial-up would remember that if someone picked up the extension, or if there was a call waiting tone, the modem couldn't easily error correct and would drop the signal.

Kids have a numbers that doesn't work. I ask if they dialed the area code. That look at me like most here do. That I am from another planet.

Send and End still around on the "new filp phones" too
