Visiting Tel Aviv - where should I stay?
« on: January 25, 2020, 05:42:05 AM »
Hi All:

My family (2 adults + 2 children, ages 8 and 4) are visiting Tel Aviv next week. This is our first time there. What neighborhood would you recommend to staying in? We have been looking at both hotels and AirBnb. Walkability is key for us.

Thanks,
-DY

If you are traveling to Tel Aviv with children, it is best to choose the area between the center and the north. In the northern part of the city there is a huge Yarkon Park, as well as the port of Namal - both places are great for walking with children, there are many playgrounds, attractions and other attractions for children.

But do not settle completely in the north, since on Shabbat, when public transport does not go, it will be difficult for you to get out of there. I recommend choosing between Bograshov, Arlozorov and Dizengoff streets.

Thanks @albrechtmyers. I'll look into that area.

We will check out Jerusalem as well. @davidrotts63
