We booked April 6-19. 2 Adults and 4 kids.
not planning anything major with small kids, i did email Chabad today to reserve dinner, i hope they will have enough food for right after Pesach.

Can we really say it's the same as every airline? They have ONE plane (an older A330) that services the JFK-BEG route. ONE plane! How difficult can it be for the airline to have delays and/or cancellations?

FYI, kosher meals are not currently available. I just spoke with an agent, who informed me that there is some sort of "problem" - she seemed to think that they'd be available again in time for my flight (mid-May) and suggested that I call back in a few weeks. The option has also vanished from airserbia.com.

I have seen this as a issue on Lot JFK- BUD route since only 1 plan is around to service this route and if there is a mechanical issue or delay like I had many times the flight will either get delayed or canceled.

how did you change?? i booked my tickets in a rush 10/27-5/10, and tried several times calling them to change for 1 week later... i had no success.. they want to charge me some fees what came up close to $1000!

For food on the jfk-blg flight I was thinking of doing door dash or similar from the schnitzel place in 5 towns.

@DoB I'm staying at the Metropol for the stopover on 5/31. I emailed the chabad about meals. I would like to do dinner on 5/31, breakfast on 6/1 and lunch for the plane on 6/1 just in case the kosher meal is dog food.

Also there's another family and single girl on this flight. I think they're staying at an airbnb.

My primary concern is that my flight back in NY lands Thursday evening. Hopefully all will go well!

Since I live in New York, I'm not too worried about the outbound flight - I'll just bring food from home.

It's the return flight from Belgrade that will be more challenging if there's no kosher food on the flight. I guess I'll have to find something nonperishable before I leave Israel.

I emailed the chabad in Belgrade to see if they can prepare food for the plane.

Thank You for contacting Air Serbia Call Center.

Currently, we are not able to add Kosher meals on JFK flights.

We kindly ask You to contact us with the same request in one month.

Anybody from 4/19 TLV flight, plan, or want to go to Kerestir ?
One transportation company (Gea tours) wants 700 Euros for the trip in a 9,11,15 or 17 passenger van with 2 drivers (i guess they feel it's too much driving for 1 driver). Maybe another company will be cheaper.
I wanted to visit the Subotica Shul on the way. It's the 2nd largest in Europe, and beautiful.
