i think we should make a thread for black friday deals sort of like the free sample thread
this will make it easier for everyone to find good deals

A bit OT, just thought this may be helpful for all the bf shoppers -(or non-bf shoppers ).

Two years ago I was in HD on the Wednesday before bf - (they are closed on Thursday), and the computers were already adjusted to the bf pricing!

It was in the evening. As I said it was 2 years ago so I don't know if their systems still work that way.

Thats actually worth plenty more than 10%

and he said they are giving 10% not that chase is discounting purchases made from apple

No exactly for me. I live in MA. If I go to NH (30 minutes away) to buy it, I don't have to pay MA tax (6.25%).
But if I purchase online, I need to pay tax, so only 3.75% discount.

Was hopping 10% off plus 10 points per dollar?

In case you don't have the chase Sapphire Preferredcard (anyone here? I can't imagine so),

Amex is also offering now a 5 X bonus at apple.com if you shop through their membership rewards portal,

But you also have to use your Amex card to get the points.
