Just got news of a certain young person who tested positive for COVID-19 before Purim. Has been asymptomatic for quite a while (since before Pesach) and just tested positive again (asymptomatic).

Interesting, why someone would take a test twice with no symptoms .
Did that person ever test negative, or test for antibodies?

This is still the most likely scenario.

I think, but am not sure, that there was a negative test. Recent positive test was upon admission to a medical facility for unrelated reasons.

I personally know of no people who tested twice and were negative after a positive. I now know of 7 who tested positive a month later.

Why do you say most likely? Because of how much you know about the virus? Why can’t you be honest and say this is possibly the answer?

There is ZERO confirmed data, including in that link. Just the hypothesis of one doctor.

The deaths per 1Mp will only go up, the reason why the fatality rate is not changing, is because we aren't changing the denominator based on the millions who have had it and tested positive for antibodies (and millions who have had it and haven't gotten tested for antibodies).
There is no question that the fatality rate is around 0.5% or less.

It is pretty hard not to bring anything into the house. I would have no issue with dry cleaners buy if you are staying at home do you need them?

When we going to see the fatality rate drop. We are testing way more and the rate is still not going down.

Dress clothing from Shabbos and the holidays. Also shirts. Obviously bringing in necessities, but haven't sent to the cleaners in a looong time.

I was referring to the fact that a False negative is more likely then my hypothesis.

I’m glad you are positive beyond the shadow of a doubt based on a couple of unconfirmed studies. I’m not saying you’re necessarily wrong, but once again, you’re using language like “no question” when most evidence points to it being well above .5.

Please tell me, what is the fatality rate for flu?

My guess is right before the next spike. So near the end of May.
