Where exactly do you get your numbers?

California as a whole is Red. The Blue parts like Los Angeles/Imperial/Marin Counties have been much harder then the rest of the state and are on par with the highest numbers in the country.

Top 10 states in cases are:

If California is a red state, then the US is 99% red. CA has a Democratic governor, and the last 7 presidential elections were for Democratic candidates. But regardless - what is your point? That urban blue areas are more likely to have been hit hard? That policies by the governor don’t make a difference? That the advice given in red states or red governors is very well thought out and not mistaken at all? That people in red counties have a secret corona vaccine? Really unsure what you’re getting at.

Why is it that 7 of the top 10 states with the highest cases per capita are from Blue states. And only 1 Red state is in the top 10 for deaths per capita.....?

Probably the same reason those hit hardest at the beginning were Jewish? You can twist numbers anyway you want.
Why was NY the epicenter first and now it is FL. NY can claim we didn't know at first but what is FL's excuse?

You don't need a complete lockdown but you need common sense. Are they requiring masks in FL?

I've been thinking about herd immunity, and came to the realization that places that the virus is most likely to spread like wildfire are the places it spread like wildfire in the first wave. So while 20% immunity isn't herd immunity the communities with 60%+ immunity are the ones that need the immunity most.

But if they have heard immunity couldn't the same be accomplished without putting those at high risk in danger?
Could it be possible that it be less lives lost in the long run?

That assumes an imaginary world where everyone over 50 or sick stays home.

In the real world, it will take 1MM+ American lives to reach herd immunity.
