The thought of my kids being home from school again is horrifying, truly horrifying. Maybe my kids are more wild then others? Maybe my house is not as big? Maybe I don't have enough entertainment? I don't know but if CNN thinks were all gonna die then good! Now move over and let the rest of us continue on with life.

I know quite a few high-risk teachers. Something to think about before we shove our kids out the door.

Children are not considered spreaders, so perhaps teachers would be safe in their classrooms.  Schools have many adults, so they may not be safe going back at this time.
But school should reopen. And (temporarily) replace those teachers that cannot/ will not return yet.

But school should reopen. And (temporarily) replace those teachers that cannot/ will not return yet.

I love teachers (spoiler alert: my wife is a teacher  ), I would never be one myself but if you have the wherewithal to deal with kids - and every age/grade has its own pros and cons - then kudos to you!

Think you misread the article. There were no students with them. Teachers spread it to each other.

Maybe I misunderstood what you wrote. Did you mean children don't transmit Covid, or that they transmit at a lesser rate? If the latter, then I apologize, but I think (and thought) you meant the former. Children may be less likely to transmit Covid to adults and other children, and they also may be less likely to get infected, but they absolutely do get infected, and they absolutely can transmit to others. Lower risk does not mean no risk.
