IIRC, you had covid much more recently than most, so perhaps you're still within the 7-8 months when reinfections are extremely rare so could wait. On the other hand, you've said that you're in a high risk group, and at one point it seemed you might have eaten everything in the refrigerator leaving only a grape and a slice of cheese
so that would be more of a reason to get it sooner rather than later. Also, there's the question of whether shuls will require it, which I expect would be unlikely in Lakewood.
