That's true, that study presented only weak evidence in favor of vaccination. To get stronger evidence we need to wait for more cases to accumulate in which a person who had covid gets it a second time.

The question is, Should people wait for those cases to accumulate before getting the vaccine?
Or should they worry that if they wait, they may become one of those cases?

The HVAC guy wasn't happy with my knowledge and questions..I found with doctors too you can have get very legit questions about their way of testing etc. As I said if the playing field would be even I would have more trust the PCP but I seriously believe doctors are missing the headstart they always have.

One thing I can tell you is that the misinterpretation of medical studies is EXTREMELY common in the frum community. Dr Roberts has something on YouTube about this and it is something I have seen many times. I've seen it the most with anti-vaxxers. I have repeated a number of times how when an anti vaxxer was trying to convince me I showed him from within the studies that he himself brought (I did not bring any) how important vaccines are. It didn't change his mind of course.

So now Delta Airlines is adding a COVID surcharge to the insurance premiums of unvaccinated employees. It does make sense for them to charge them to relieve the costs incurred when people get COVID.
