Yes Paxlovid can reduce COVID severity if taken early, but it can also cause rebound COVID cases. And your Dr if you should take it.
It's unlikely for someone who was positive to catch it from you within a few months.

why seems? If you didn't test, there other common illnesses spreading that have similar symptoms

we didn't test but no other illness seemed likely because those were the only symptom's and they only lasted a few days (3 max)
from what i know flu or any other type of infection / virus come with fever, congestion ,cough
i felt safe to assume it was covid but hey who knows

either way i wouldn't believe what the test would show
