My point has been, despite being hyperbolic at the outset, that much of what was regarded as conspiracy theories, dangerous, disinformation, has more been deemed plausible, correct, or at least likely.

Correct, it is worse. 
By the department's definition, a low confidence assessment "means the information is scant, questionable, or very fragmented, so it is difficult to make solid analytic inferences; it could also mean that the (intelligence community) has significant concerns about or problems with the sources."

You are missing the boat. The big issue here is not whether it actually was a lab leak or not. The issue is how the possibility of it being true was discounted without regard for truth since it was not a politically expedient opinion or because there were some quacks who were using it to advance their own agenda. Meanwhile, one by one government agencies are reaching conclusions that it is a likely possibility that it is the truth. Yet you are continuing that practice right here and now.
