Because the news was out that the D's were against the bill. Had it passed it would of stabilized. Look, I'm not trying to time the markets here, and one months volatility does not measure the economy. But I and tens of millions of Small Business owners were waiting with baited breath to see where this is going, and now that we see deadlock we will stop waiting for Washington and take matters into our hands. I will be furloughing 70% of my team tomorrow until this over. And I'll tell them it's the Dems fault, had the bill passed they would of still had a job.

Trump is a non-persona as far as I'm concerned, economically. The Fed did the right move, although it's nowhere near enough as the credit problem here is demand-side, not supply-side. The Treasury has indeed rallied Congress and unveiled very bold - and unthinkable - legislation which has wall-to-wall Republican support (note the missing Tea Party). This was taken straight out of the Obama playbook, it's a good bill. It's not perfect, but we can add more pieces later. We are craving stability and the D's just shot that. Poor America.
