First of all, that story isn't played out yet. Second, assuming Bnei Brak's numbers stay steady, we'll be talking about nissei nissim when this is over. It's a statistical anomaly. And also nothing to do with this guy's proposed 70 day cycle with a 40 day peak. Also, the economy in BB... not exactly gutted over this.

No matter how the cards fall people will spin things after the fact to whatever preconceived biases they already have. Same as already been happening in peoplesí reactions/behaviors so far.

Humans will be humans, nothing new here.

Why is NYS the hardest hit?
Why is USA hit so hard? We are less than 5% of the world population and many times that in number of deaths.

I don't believe that to be true. I think we just have the most accurate and up to date reporting of deaths.

Iran is probably higher.

If food hoarding and shortages begin, what we've been through so far will be a joke compared to what's ahead.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Can we please ignore the number of cases. Its meaningless. Deaths as a lagging indicator will be the final arbiter of how bad it was when this is over. Looking at it from the inside out at this moment in time is really not the way to look at this.

Death isn't the be-all-end-all.

(The origin of the phrase "be-all, end-all" is used in reference to death. ;) )

Reported cases are meaningless. There are 8 million in NYC alone and only 200k positive tests out of how many tested? positive cases are a very very poor metric. If you use them NYS has a 5%+ death rate which is just not true while Israel has a .9% rate. They arent doing that much of a better job than us. Deaths are a lagging indicator. Everyone agrees on that. But to use positive cases as a metric other than for the hyperbole that the media needs/uses/wants it for, is foolish.
