and still 60%-80% of the community had the virus.
I would just like to point out two things about these numbers that keeps getting repeated on here.
From the Gedaliah Society:
...it would seem that a little over 70% of those in the age group 25-65 has been sick with a COVID-like illness, while only approximately 55% of those above age 65 have reported a COVID-like illness.
First of all, this is based on a survey of people who think they may have had it, and not on actual positive tests. Second, 70% of the 25-65 demographic, even with 100% participation,
does not equal 70% of the entire population of CH. 45% of those over 65 who participated in the survey did not have it, and there are no numbers for the under 25 demographic, which constitutes a very significant portion of the CH community.
