I didn’t read the article but each of these approaches have their pros and cons and the advantage of randomized studies FWIU is that they’re more reliable.

Former MK Moshe Feiglin published on Twitter a Health Ministry response to queries regarding various coronavirus statistics.

In the document, the Health Ministry clarified that no adults without preexisting conditions who were between the ages of 18-49 at the time of their death, died of coronavirus.

At the same time, the Ministry emphasized that its information is "based on information which the patients themselves or their family members volunteered as part of an epidemiological investigation, if an investigation was conducted and the patient chose to share [the information] with the investigator."

Therefore, the Ministry emphasized, "The existing information does not necessarily reflect the patient's medical situation."

Feiglin, however, wrote that the government "locked you up in your homes, and stole a year of normal education from your children...all for a 'plague' which hurt zero citizens below the age of 50 without preexisting conditions."

Feiglin's statement ignores the significant burden of long COVID, which affects between 10-50% of those infected with COVID-19; 65% of those individuals were still suffering 1.5 years later. At the same time, it raises the question of how much a society is willing to do in order to protect its most vulnerable members.

The query to the Health Ministry also included a question on how many cardiac arrest events occurred annually between the years 2018-2022. Responding to this, the Health Ministry provided information on the years 2018-2020, but said that it had not yet received the information for the years 2021-2022, and thus could not provide this information.

Regarding the queries on the average age of death for vaccinated, unvaccinated, and partially-vaccinated individuals, the Health Ministry reported that vaccinated individuals who died of coronavirus died at an average age of 80.2, while those who were not vaccinated and died of coronavirus died at an average age of 77.4. For those who had been vaccinated but had missed their booster doses, the average age of death from coronavirus was 80.8.

Was what the case? 0 deaths for "healthy" 18-49 year old's? Quick google gave me 3 deaths in a "small" subset of the US population from Mar 1 - Aug 1 2020, although the more search savvy members may be able to find more comprehensive data.

Abstract
Among 513 adults aged 18–49 years without underlying medical conditions hospitalized with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) during March 2020–August 2020, 22% were admitted to an intensive care unit, 10% required mechanical ventilation, and 3 patients died (0.6%). These data demonstrate that healthy younger adults can develop severe COVID-19.

...This analysis used data from 13 states (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, and Utah)... This analysis was limited to patients with completed medical chart abstractions and a discharge disposition (ie, discharged or died in-hospital).

During 1 March 2020–1 August 2020, 44 865 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 were identified through COVID-NET. Adults aged 18–49 years represented 29.3% (n = 13 167) of all hospitalized patients. Of the 13 167 patients aged 18–49 years, 3720 (28.3%) had medical chart abstractions completed (Supplementary Figure 1). Among these 3720 patients, 2.7% (n = 101) did not have information on underlying conditions. Of the remaining 3619 patients, 14.2% (n = 513) had no underlying conditions and were included in the analysis.

Revisiting the moral obligation to vaccinate.

Below, I will highlight what I believe to be specific shortcomings in the article:
The reader is given imprecise information about the risk of COVID by failing to distinguish between the Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) of the young and the elderly.
It does not properly consider other legitimate epidemiological responses, like the Swedish approach and therefore creates a narrow epidemiological response focused on vaccination.
It does not substantiate its claims of COVID vaccine efficacy.
It neglects to acknowledge psychological effects of the social ostracization of those who do not vaccinate.

That article had concluded:

Halakha permits, encourages, and likely even obligates Rachel to get a COVID-19 vaccination for herself and her children in order to protect herself and others from infection, help create herd immunity, and end the pandemic. Similarly, schools and communities should require a COVID-19 vaccination despite parents’ reluctance. We believe that failure to vaccinate violates the prohibition to stand idly by another’s blood. 

We hope that a safe and effective vaccine will be developed and disseminated in the very near future. It is our best hope to alleviate the worldwide suffering and to arrest the horrific death toll brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
