In no particular order, here are some “kosher” games that I play and allow my children to play.
They are all technically bad for the Jews as they lead to bitul Torah.

    NetHack
    Dwarf Fortress
All the major Mario games, from Super Mario Bros. to Super Mario Odyssey
Portal and Portal 2 (some kol isha at the end)
    Harvest Moon 64
    Lemmings
    Super Hexagon
    Minecraft (offline of course)
    Space Chem
    TIS-100
    Snake
    Overcooked (especially fun with friends)
    Snake Pass
Humongous Entertainment games, especially the Putt Putt, Freddie Fish, and Pajama Sam series
Creeper World 3: Arc Eternal (or just about any tower defense game)
    Hexcells
    Braid
    Crayon Physics Deluxe
    SpaceCom
    Osmos
Any game in the Civilization series
    SimCity
    Cities: Skylines
Anno 1492 AKA Dawn of Discovery
    Ticket to Ride
    Thomas was Alone
    World of Goo
    A Mind Forever Voyaging

Currently free on the Epic Games Store is Offworld Trading Company, which has been described as "economic real-time strategy" and gotten good reviews.

Digital versions of board games on sale (expires about 4 days from time of posting):
(This requires the Steam game platform.)

https://www.humblebundle.com/games/asmodee-play-with-friends

$1 (or more) gets all of the following:
Carcassonne*
Potion Explosion*
Patchwork*
King & Assassins
Small World 2
Love Letter

$10.23 [or so] (or more) adds:
Splendor and 2 expansions(*)
Mysterium
Twilight Struggle
2 Small World expansions
2 Carcassonne expansions

$12 (or more) adds:
Scythe
The "Lord of the Rings" Adventure Card Game
a Small World expansion
a Splendor expansion
2 Mysterium expansions
3 Carcassonne expansions

The ones with asterisks are ones I've personally played (physically, that is)
and would recommend (Splendor less highly than the others). Other notes:
You might not consider the art in Love Letter or Small World appropriate for your
household (and I haven't seen the LotR game's art). The same goes for the concept
of Mysterium, which is that one player is a ghost attempting to convey who murdered
them to the other players. Scythe, Twilight Struggle, and probably the LotR game
are far more complicated than the others.
If you find an in-game tutorial insufficient, you can probably find a video
explaining how to play on YouTube (the channel WatchItPlayed is good for this).

The Epic Games Store summer sale ends at 11 AM today. Some of the puzzle games on sale are:
Superliminal (uses forced perspective and optical illusion)
Kine (3D puzzles)
Manifold Garden (involves Escherian geometry or something)

Also, there's a giant-robot time-travel turn-based tactics roguelite called Into the Breach
(I bought it) and the not-for-children civilian-in-a-wartorn-city survival game This War of Mine.

Currently free on the Epic Games Store (until tomorrow at 11 AM):
Wilmot's Warehouse
Promotional text: "Wilmot's Warehouse is a game for people who like to organise things. You are ... responsible for organising and storing ... products in the warehouse. These products arrive in a random jumble ... and must later be located and handed to your co-workers ... How you arrange them all is entirely up to you - organise by colour, type, the Dewey Decimal System, or some wild format that only you understand - it’s all good! Just remember where you put everything, because when the service hatch opens, you'll need to find the things ... quickly, in order to earn the coveted Performance Stars required for all manner of upgrades to improve the warehouse."

They actually automatically refunded me for it. That was nice of them.
Currently free on EGS are a strategy game about building a railway empire and a
wander-around-Depression-era-America-hearing-stories thing (some kol isha on
the soundtrack depending on which part of the country you're in - I watched a
gameplay video of it a couple of years back).
