OK. I got an email from AA that because I have the million lifetime miles I now reached gold status. Some questions. First, what are the great benefits? I looked at the list. Didn't seem that great. Also, does my wife get the same benefits like better checkin (I think thyat was one of them), free luggage, etc. when she's with me? Also, I remember something about using a foreign address. What was that good for. And am I out of luck because they said they're already sending me a package?
So what are all the great things, understanding that I don't travel more than once or twice a year.
I did get the 75000 extra miles for each of 4 credit cards (thank you again, Dan!) and we"re IYH going to Israel in the summer business class on ElAl. But then again, I don't suppose using mileage on another airline gives you anything for being AA Gold status?
Can anyone help me out here?
