It reads that Trump is going to push schools through, and won't let science get in his way. Acosta's an idiot, but he's not stupid. He worded it precisely that way for a reason.

Acosta's implication is that to Trump, the science is irrelevant. Many people will read into that and assume that the only reason it would be irrelevant is because it doesn't support his position. The Press Sec clearly said the science backs up opening schools. Quoting her in that way was at best misleading.

As an aside, we're an outlier in the West regarding opening our schools, because we are also an outlier in the West in our ability to contain the virus.

I watched the clip and that is why I said she messed up. He was wrong for what he did. How much more fair can I be?

Now contrast that with a member here that removes words from what I said and tries to say it is the same thing. Then to top it off he gets a like for doing that. We all know what is going on here. Before you call the media out you should all look in the mirror!!!

There is no "even". It was an exact quote to what she said. She messed up. She then went on a rambling quoting someone else. I still can't tell where that quote ends and she starts spewing her BS again.
