@BP16 not to mess with your narrative, but FL and TX are very split states, and the outbreaks are largely in Blue cities and counties. You know why? Population density, which guides both politics and viral spread. There is no rational argument to be made that the US, on a country-wide level, handled this pandemic with any amount of competence. On a Federal level, this has been a complete failure. That's not to say there's no blame to go around on a local level, as well, but that doesn't give the Trump administration a free pass.
Then I guess almost every European country did a bad Job. death rate in the US is 3.3 compared to Spain 8.1, UK 13.5, Italy 14.1 France 14.3 Germany 4.3 Belgium 13.9 160k deaths in those European Countries and if you add the population from all those countries its about the same as the US around 330M!!!
But keep on blaming everything on Trump because hey why not!
And BTW the US stock market is doing better then European markets
