Bad example. There are laws against copying, transferring, or possessing child pornography, even if you had nothing to do with the original sin.

ETA: I've heard nothing of child porn other than from Q, and I believe the conversation is moot.

I may have misunderstood something that I heard Rudy say.

Rudy released texts from Hunter in which he tells Joe that his sister in law (who he was dating) had claimed that he (Hunter) was "sexually inappropriate" with a 14 year old girl. Rudy made a police report and (IIRC) implied that there was more than just that text.

Hunter's text to Joe -
