My post was directed at those who largly prefer Trump's policies, but were planning on voting for Biden because being a scumbag is disqualifying for them.

The fact that most (if not all) of the prominent post-election NeverTrumpers (Bill Kristol types) will still vote for Biden shows that their opposition to Trump was never about his morality.

The difference here is I won't defend that behavior. I am just stating the facts that with Trump being elected being a major scumbag no longer is a disqualification.

Remember Gary Hart or John Edwards? There was a time that being a major scumbag mattered. The Kool-Aid drinkers changed all that for the worst. They only have themselves to blame.
