I see one path forward for the Democrat party:
1) Biden chooses a VP.
2) Biden's doctor announces he has "mild to moderate" Dementia.
3) Biden withdraws (or is ejected), and his chosen VP is put on the ticket in the top slot.

That is kind of the plan. Only the DNC believe he can win the election, and then they will implement this.
