I don't see Jewish orthodox women as independent as women from say a big city. Is that ignorance, stereotype, bigotry or fact?

I see Jewish orthodox women as being more modest than women from say a big city. Is that ignorance, stereotype, bigotry or fact?

I'm not sure why you equate modesty with less independence.

And they would all be presumptuous. If she had a addiction or dependency issue that is not readily apparent to an outsider, is she still strong and independent? And why does having no children have anything to do with either of those traits?

One person said you may be a bigot. A second person said you were stereotyping. A third said a different stereotype was a fact. And somehow we all get lumped together and you call that fair.

I'm not twisting anything. You said that you asked the same question 2 times. I quoted those questions and went with what you said about them being the same question. Maybe this is another case of you not being clear and me misunderstanding what you meant.

Why is she strong if she takes the easy way out and decides not to do it with kids?

My point isn't that she is weak. My point is that her being alone and running a business doesn't make her strong and independent any more than it does a guy. Stereotypes are the reason that woman is called strong and independent and the guy is just a guy.
