I would be shocked if he won
More shocked than when Trump won in 2016?

I've been saying since day one he won't win in the general election, for two main reasons.

1. How motivated will the Bernie Sanders wing of the party be to turn out and vote for him? Sure they hate Trump with the passion of a thousand burning suns, but actually coming out to vote for someone who's just about everything they claim to be standing against (white male billionaire) takes some serious nose-holding. (especially if they feel their guy got screwed out of the nomination again)

2. His extreme anti-2A positions have got to be alienating to those more moderate voters who care even a little bit about their gun rights.

Why is Mike even being considered??
Because he has the money to make endless slickly produced ads like this and spend $$$$$$$$$ advertising them:

He doesn't need Bernie Bro turnout to win NY and California. His appeal would be to moderates in all the purple states Trump won in 2016. Watch out, he can be dangerous.

No way he can fight Trump one on one, let alone on the debate stage, Trump will drag him immediately into his trash can and will beat him with experience in his comfort zone. Bloomberg has no charisma whatsoever or any other tool to deal with that.

Hu?? Trump is a poor guy compared to Bloomberg. Bloomberg's 60+ billion net worth makes him one of the top richest people on the globe.

I agree with you on this.

But ultimately I think it boils down to how much ppl are tired of the nonstop barrage of news created by Trump. If there's a viable opponent that's "normal" it just might happen.

Of course that's IF he can win the nomination...

He will emerge from super Tuesday as a legit contender. Biden will be done.

Now that Biden is performing so poorly his chances have definitely risen.

But we shall see...

I remember that very well, I remember how he brought down the front runner Jeb Bush, making him a blushing face to the point his glasses turned foggy.. was brutal. Of course in debating policy substance he wasn't good, but he managed well to shift the talk to his advantage.

The entire Wall Street literally runs on the system Bloomberg built. That’s aside for his vast media network and real estate holdings.
