At this point in the process, if she is to stay in the game she has to do whatever will give her the biggest boost right now. Clearly that was attacking Bloomberg, not Sanders. I really don't even understand your point of view on this. You seem to be suggesting that she'd have been better off in this specific scenario focusing on Sanders instead of Bloomberg. If that's what you're actually saying, you're off your rocker.
That's exactly what im suggesting.
She just attacked Bloomberg again after NV when he's not on the the ballot till Super Tuesday , by then she can fight Stacy Abrams for the VP spot.
If you think I'm wrong we can wait till this is over.....

Does anybody see how Bloomy could win this thing? Did he not count on Sanders have such a good turnout these first few states?

That was until we had the Obama nominations.

This dude is gehakte leber.

Trump keeps repeating that what he pulled off wasn't easy. Trump has been street fighting on live tv for 40 years while Mayor B sat in boardrooms having intelligent conversations. No way his money can buy him the tact to fend off the abuse his rivals will give him.
How fitting that Barry Popik was called on to weigh on this.

Should the thread be renamed Bern vs. Trump?

I think we can basically close down this thread. No way mini mike makes this.

Now, who is excited to watch the Trump Sanders debate?

Unless it's a contested convention and mini mike buys his nomination.
I'm not who you think I am.

So I just listened to Ben Shapiro's friday show and he said hat it must be that Bloomy is hoping for this and then he will tell the DNC that he will bankroll every single important Democratic race in the country. Will be an offer that the DNC can't refuse.
Then the only thing to remain to be seen is if Bloomberg could win the general election without Sanders supporters, who will no doubt be furious.

I think it will be a lot more than just Bernie supporters who are turned off by someone explicitly buying the nomination.

Probably but the Dems are going to lose the Whitehouse either way. At least this way they will do better in all of the other races.

Interesting read regarding the tilt towards socialism.

Great article. Brings to mind all the panic caused by the government shutdown, from all the people who didn't have enough money put away to survive two missed paychecks.

Which makes me wonder if Ray Dalio would consider running for president. He has been very vocal about the divide (as referenced in the article) and strikes me as truly humble and genuine. He would have to overcome his lack of name recognition, but he definitely has the funds to launch a Bloomberg-esque campaigne.

Unfortunately, in today's day and age, that just doesn't cut it in order to succeed in politics.

One needs to be a master of words and have good control of the media in order to succeed. (Oh, and did I mention elephant or rhino skin?).

Also want to commend @ExGingi for always linking interesting and informative articles.

Thanks for the compliment.

All of those who were busy saying how Trump shouldn't be allowed to buy the presidency.

Spending money on ads is very different than explicitly giving hundreds of millions of dollars to delegates/DNC in exchange for the nomination.
