Why did Bloomberg even get on the debate stage? Didn't Trump prove in 2016 that you don't need to be at the debates in order to win?

Bloomberg should of stayed out of the debates, it could only of hurt him.
This.

He should've proclaimed that it wasn't fair to Cory Booker & CO  and that he will only do it if Booker can be there blah blah blah.
Warren gains nothing from going after Bloomberg, she should focus on Sanders.
In 3 weeks she will be as relevant as Beto and Kamala Harris.
She's angleing to be VP

Any comments from the "Bernie has a ceiling of 30%" people?
Exactly my thoughts... He's taking over the Democratic party as Trump did to the Republican party
I think we can basically close down this thread. No way mini mike makes this.

Now, who is excited to watch the Trump Sanders debate?
So I just listened to Ben Shapiro's friday show and he said hat it must be that Bloomy is hoping for this and then he will tell the DNC that he will bankroll every single important Democratic race in the country. Will be an offer that the DNC can't refuse.
Then the only thing to remain to be seen is if Bloomberg could win the general election without Sanders supporters, who will no doubt be furious.
This exactly.
No way this happens.
-1

He can't officially buy it, but many will think that he will when voting for him...that's the Big Concern about a brokered conversation... If a different candidate doesn't actually win the Democratic nomination then Bernie Bros will definitely sit out in a general election.

If a different candidate does win the nomination, it's still not sure that the Bernie Bros vote in the general election...

Hence the reason why the D's are in a tough place

The difference between Bernie and Trump is the independent voters. They would never vote in a communist (especially the 35+ generation) but they could look past Trumps rhetoric. It will be a landslide.

I totally agree. That's exactly why Trump what's him to be the nominee... But I'm taking about their base and their hostile takeover of their party's.

Wont make a difference....They wont switch to Bernie. However moderate Dems will switch to Trump as Bernie can ruin their party forever if he is elected.

Can we stop with the conspiracy theories....If Bloomberg does not have a path forward after Super Tuesday he is out. He will not continue. What he may do is support Pete or Biden.

in addition to his ad buy. This would be much more of buying a presidency than Trump.

There's no world where Pete is viable after Super Tue. and Bloomberg isn't.
Biden and Bloomberg are within a margin of error...
So why would Bloomberg cede to Biden when he has enough cash to go till June ????
(Pete and biden may stay in as long as they have money for a brokered convention)

Anyone hear Arthur Levitt this morning on Bloomberg? Old-time Ds are terrified of a Sanders nomination.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I'll do whatever it takes to oppose Bernie. Don't need to make this place a Venezuela or Cuba.

I believe the NT’s are just as afraid of Bernie as the rest of us are.

How many American citizens, democrats included, have been negatively impacted, or suffered under Trump ? Now imagine how Bernie as prez would affect you.

You weren’t scared enough of the Clinton corruption to vote Trump in 2016?
