It's a local store though, what can go wrong if they are not an authorized seller?
At best you'd have a camera with no warranty. At worst (and this is more common than you think) they'll screw around with you for a month and may or may not ship you a camera.
Obviously there are lots of in-between scenarios, but the moral of the story is that it isn't worth it to go with shady dealers just to save a few bucks.
