Applying for 2nd business card with same EIN and different SSN?

I currently have a Citi AAdvantage Business MC, which I opened using my business EIN, and my SSN, and my partner would like to open another Citi AAdvantage Business MC, using the same Business EIN, and his SSN (so that he can link his card with his AA acct). Will Citi allow him to open a new account using the same EIN (and business name) and and a different SSN?

I don't have experience with this but just a suggestion for a possible work-around - he can apply with hiss ss as a sole proprietorship,  and add the ein after approval.  (Or never add it at all.)

I'll think they'll allow it, no personal experience though. Saver's solution will work too, or just leave it as an SP.

How about the opposite scenario?
I have a Citibusiness under my ssn as sole prop. Would like to get a second one under my ein s a separa business, can I get it?

Yes OP, There can be several partners open cards under same EIN and different ssn. Have done this without issue.

In general CCs go by SS, not EIN.

However, I do think that Citi's 95 day rule for business cards does apply by EIN. I once applied for a citi business AA card under DWs SS. A few weeks later I applied for the card under my SS using the same EIN and I got automatically rejected because I had already applied for the product recently. Afterwards I think I also tried to change the EIN with my SS and got rejected again. After waiting 4 months I applied again and was approved.
