Finance, education, opportunity and many more things you could throw in there.

And I'd argue opportunity of today is not what it was of yesteryear, and throw in the fact that education (as well as all the entitlement programs) is paid for by being the most fiscally irresponsible we've ever been, I'd say it may be worse for our children.

Not to mention that all of these entitlement programs compel an attitude wherein "opportunity" takes on a meaning that is meaningless.

Commerce clause is what they used against CA.

And look how well that's done.

I would have to disagree and glad I live in a country where that is allowed.

Allowed? Where opportunity is allowed?

You mean as opposed to, say, Iran?

He meant allowed to disagree

And I think your are correct that the opportunity we (people beginning careers now) have is much more limited than our parents. It used to be you could go into anything and make a descent living. Now it's much more difficult

I guess the market loved his last four years. Real easy to play with numbers.  ;)
Eh. The sell-off today is a direct response to the elections, you know that as well as I do. Hello, Mr. devil's advocate

He's more than welcome to disagree, this is, after all, a free America     ...for now.

This country is undoubtedly heading to a place where, fiscally, we've never been before. How that jives with opportunity being more plentiful doesn't make sense, IMO.

I guess we look at things differently. Sure things in my life could be better but I am very satisfied at the moment. If I can make things better for my kids than my wife and I have so much the better. I hope they can accomplish 10 or 100 times more than we have. I guess I am just tired of hearing all the time how bad things are.

Rate of growth is much more important than level of prosperity

It's kind of like calculus. You have to look at the derivative not the function.

It says popular vote, it's misleading, but technically correct (as of the time it was printed).
