France is instituting a 75% income tax for people making 1MM+.

You think that's a good idea?

It will destroy GDP creation (why work so hard if the government will get most of it?), destroy jobs (what's the last job you had from someone earning $100K/year?), destroy spending, and gives a huge incentive for the best and brightest to get the heck out.

But maybe we should do it here too and see what happens

Calling it the affordable care act doesn't suddenly make it affordable. The taxes will easily push all of us (yes, us middle classers too) into a place we don't want to be.
That being said, Romney has his own healthcare bill issues that the Obama campaign hasn't touched yet. It's going to be a nasty Sep/Oct.

Taxes can come from places other than bush tax cuts

They do. They are taken from every place they can be taken from. The Bush cuts should be made permanent.

This ad has plays every few minutes in OH. Literally 3 out of every 4 ads that have aired during the Jeopardy show I'm watching right now is for the elections...
