Article 2 section 1 of the united states constitution would not allow that.

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

All of these guys are total jokes. They are going to destroy each other in the primaries for naught because none of them will win the general election anyways.

At least if Chris Christie would have run there would be entertainment. He could have chosen Rex Ryan as his running-mate

True. Yet, where was Obama before Iowa? He was considered a joke, too. A year is a mighty long time in politics.

+1. Especially if the economy is bad come election time. The American public will have a hard time voting Obama back in if there isn't any change in the economy since he took office, and if its worse then 4 years ago republicans definitely have an edge. There are so many variables that go into elections, it is as of now any ones game.

In any event though, why don't we just save everybody a lot of time and money and concede the GOP nom to Romney?

I'm all for Newt! Only one to seriously challenge both Romney and Obama. Would have liked open-mouth-insert-foot Perry but... Did anyone realize just how many outright lies Obama has told us in the last 4 years, especially from Candidate Obama to President Obama! It's unbelievable. Someone must start a collection of them.
