That's for the white- almost transparent thank you bags. The black shopping bags (see link) are also on sale but additional $4.73 for shipping, probably weighing the same. Their shipping calculation never makes any sense.

In the topic of Sams club and NY bans. Does the city's styrofoam ban also prohibits online purchases delivering to NYC? I found that Costco and Amazon will ship foam items to NYC, but Walmart and Sams-club won't. Would assume that there's a blanket rule so no idea why they differ.

Both of these looks extremely thin, the junky type. Wouldn't pay for such a bag.

I didn't mean the local kosher grocery. Walmart, Target, etc have bean counters who will tell you exactly how much this ban will increase their share price.

I'm wondering if the labor costs due to the inefficiency of each shopper having their own solution on how to carry their stuff home won't outweigh the savings this might achieve.

this is what I was thinking, why not every AM put a bunch of bags outside the store on a hook or so "free for the public". There will be for sure loopholes
