From what I glean there is a lawsuit filed by a bag maker and some retailers that basically put a hold on the law being enforced. i havent seen a restraining order but the state has said it wont enforce until the lawsuit is settled, so I guess it is de facto restrained. Dont count on big retailers or supermarkets to not comply as of today.
How does this work for big retailers in malls? Is Macy's now going to give me a paper bag for 5 cents like the bags we used to get with those flimsy plastic handles that ripped before you got out of the mall?
