My wife got approved for a chase saphire card ( after first being rejected, and when she called they cleared it up as a mistake, and approved her). She received her card and when we tried to activate it, they said it had been closed (revoked).
I called and tried to ask them why and they came up with bad reasons that made no sense ( They said she has too many credit cards - she has 2. They said she owes money - both credit cards have a zero balance.)
She has a GREAT credit and no negatives ( except for a library balance which she just found out while looking into this to make sure she is right...which is $100 - NOT enough to be denied for) and she has an income. She has never been late with her payments.
I have never heard of this happening - they are rejecting her AFTER sending her the card....Please advise if anyone has any insight into how to fix this or has had this problem before. Thanks!
