AP dead or Obi dead?
R' Yitzchok Berkowitz is quoted repeatedly on the pod as being in support of voting. Is this verified?
If the Moetzes is so opposed to it how can the allow the various orthodox organizations to be involved i.e. the OU and othersshouldnt they resign from those organizations
From: Rabbi Aharon Feldman <___@ nirc.edu>Date: Fri, Feb 21, 2020 at 12:44 PMSubject: RE: Upcoming world zionist organization electionsTo:xxxxxRegarding your question regarding the upcoming elections for the World Zionist Organization:To vote one must declare that he accepts the Jerusalem Program (statement of ideology) of the WZO. My opinion is that a Jew is forbidden to declare that he is a member, or ascribes to a program, of an organization whose platform fails to recognize the Jewish nation is a nation which received the Torah at Mount Sinai. Such a statement is a Chilul Hashem (desecration of G-d’s name) and may not be made no matter what the material or spiritual benefits will thereby accrue. It is therefore forbidden to vote in this election. Contrary to what is widely held, the position of the Mo’etzes Gedoley Hatorah of Agudath Israel is that it does not endorse voting in this election by any person. It has not issued a public statement on the matter because of other considerations. The widespread idea that the Mo’etzes endorses voting has its source in a mistaken presentation of the Mo’etzes position by HaRav Elya Brudny who has since withdrawn his statement. With deep respect,Aharon Feldman
This does not seem to be the position of Rav Shmuelhttps://matzav.com/listen-hagaon-rav-shmuel-kamenetsky-on-voting-in-the-wzo-elections/

The Moetzes should resign from the OU? Huh?
if any person has dual membership they should resign from any organization who is pro-voting in the WZO

Why? Is this the first disagreement they have had on this exact concept?
if they are threatening to resign from the Moetzes ...they should also resign from their other positions
