We redeemed ultimate rewards points for a 4-night hotel stay which turned out to be a nightmare because there was no water and electricity in the hotel. The hotel said the pipe broke on the day we arrived. We think the hotel would have transferred us to other hotels that have water and electricity.
We contacted Chase Travel to request a 50% ultimate rewards points refunded with evidence in pictures. Chase Travel said they contacted the hotel and the hotel declined our refund request, and case is close.
